For many families the pooja room is the heart of the home. Our pooja room design in Chennai creates a space that feels calm and sacred, follows your traditions and fits naturally into the rest of the interior.

Pooja room designs in wall and niche units

Not every home has space for a separate room. Pooja room designs in wall — a recessed niche or wall-mounted unit — can be just as beautiful, with a carved backdrop, soft lighting, a small platform for lamps and drawers for pooja items.

Small pooja room design that feels complete

In a small pooja room, proportion and light do most of the work. A backlit jaali, a simple marble or wood platform and a well-designed door give a compact room real presence.

Materials, carving and doors

We work with solid wood, veneer, MDF and Corian for carved and CNC-cut patterns, and design doors with bells, glass or jaali panels so the space stays visible yet distinct.

Planned with Vastu

Position, orientation and the direction the deities face are planned with Vastu guidance and your family’s customs.

FAQ

Good to know.

01 Where should the pooja room be placed as per Vastu?

The north-east is traditionally preferred, with the deity facing east or west. We follow your family’s customs and balance them with the practical layout of the home.

02 Can you design a pooja unit for a small flat?

Yes. A wall-mounted or niche pooja unit can be beautiful in very little space, with storage below and soft lighting.

03 Which materials work best for pooja units?

Solid wood and veneer for warmth, MDF or Corian for detailed CNC patterns, and stone or tile for easy cleaning of the base.
